Standard Garden Design Service

 

 

Initial Meeting

I will meet you at your premises to discuss, in full, all of your needs and requirements together with any ideas that you may want incorporating eg style, colours etc.

 

During this meeting I will also take a full detailed survey of your garden noting the aspect, dimensions and levels.  

 

Concept Plans

 

I will draw to scale two basic colour Concept Plans with 3D imagery which will provide you with two different designs based on the information provided at the briefing.  

 

I will ask you to select your preferred design noting any alterations required.  The Garden Layout Plan will be produced from the selected Concept Plan incorporating any agreed alterations.

 

3D Animations

 

With each design we also provide an animated walk through your garden to enable you to get a real sense of the feel and space of your new garden.

Dimensions Plan

 

This plan shows all the relevant measurements and positions to enable the garden to be set out as of plan and to ensure precise construction.

Lighting Plan

 

This is a colour coded plan showing the type, quantities and positions of all luminaries.  

Planting Plan

 

This plan provides details of appropriate planting for the aspect, soil type and style of the design.  The plan details the botanical names, required quantities and planting location for all plants, shrubs and trees.

All of these plans can be used by yourself to construct your own garden.  We also offer a fully project managed construction program.  On completion of the design service we will provide a written quotation from an approved contractor for the cost of the works to be carried out as of plan with an estimated start date.

All works are project managed by Michael Palmer and the construction is carried out by an approved contractor, the principal contractor that we work alongside with is S B Paving, who we work with on a daily basis.

ALL CONTRACTORS ARE FULLY INSURED AND GUARANTEE THEIR WORK, they are all highly experienced and provide the highest standard of workmanship

Garden Layout Plans

 

This plan details all the elements, features and materials that will be used in the construction of your garden.  This is a true to scale plan and therefore shows the true proportions of your designed garden.

We also provide design colour photos of key points of your finished garden design.
