The Exodus Project
We use approved contractors for all construction work undertaken. Our principal contractor is S B Paving who we work with on a daily basis.
ALL CONTRACTORS ARE FULLY INSURED AND GUARANTEE THEIR WORK
The plot will be landscaped and planted with native trees and shrubs to encourage wildlife and compliment the surrounding area and neighbouring gardens. We will be working with the Exodus Project in conjunction with the Wakefield Council Planning Department and Tree Officer to ensure that the proposals meet the needs of the Exodus Project and enhance the environment in South Hiendley.
On 25th July 2011 we carried out the initial spraying of the plot to kill off the existing vegetation, this shall be cut down in approximately 2 weeks, followed by a second application of weed killer, before the groundwork's commence, subject to planning approval.
We are undertaking this landscaping project in conjunction with SB Paving and Barkers Fencing, Decking and Landscape Centre.

We are currently at the concept stage of the design process for landscaping the 2 acre plot at the new centre, based in South Hiendley, for the Exodus Project. The plans have been submitted to Wakefield Council for planning approval. The Exodus Project’s brief was to create a large garden and re-instate some of the former features before the land became overgrown, including resurrecting the pond to the north east of the site.
